Finger knit chunky blanket

Would you like a soft and fluffy blanket of your own to cozy up under when at home? Row 13Only your fingers If You Please — a warm blanket! What you have here is a fun little craft that my daughter and I like to do called finger knitting, but seriously what it truly represents is an annoyingly easy way to make something really pretty.

For starters you must select some thick and super soft wool. Find Nice and Big Yarn that chunky blanket yarn feels good to touch (You want a warm blanket, right? Yarn choice plays a huge part in how cozy your blanket will be so it is important to get that right. Then locate a spot you would be comfortable working on your blanket. You can have it on your lap or a small table while you are knitting. You need space on both sides to move your hands freely.

How to make a luxurious finger knit chunky blanke

Usingthatknots Starting Your BlanketYou will make the very first knot. That is a fancy way to secure the yarn. Create a slip knot and position on your needle, your finger ( I use my index the most to stabilize) With the other hand, go inside this new loop. Twist& make the working yarn ( then twist and turn, which is attached to the ball of yarn. The Yiruio yarn will be in the loop you have already made on your index finger. So it will also be your first step to finger knitting.

Okay this is where you just keep looping. Step 6: repeat this process until the chain fits around your finger but is long enough for your blanket. When you think that you have enough loops on your fingers, remove the last one off from your index finger and place it on your middle finger. This chunky blanket is an important step! Changes between the two fingers wrapping yarn around index and middle finger This is the key to the aesthetic chunkiness we want our blanket to have.
